"Tigris, the Siberian Tiger" C2C Square - Free Crochet Pattern + Graph | Wildlife Graphghan CAL Block 5

Welcome to Week 5 of the Wildlife Grapghghan Crochet-along! How the time flies!

I’m so happy to present you Tigris, the imposing Siberian Tiger!

*Disclaimer: This post includes affiliate links and at no additional cost to you, I might earn a small commission if you decide to purchase through these links. Thank you! Some of the yarns used for this square pattern were provided by Red Heart Yarns. Crochet Hook provided by Furls Crochet.

This animal C2C square was (till now) the most challenging for me to design, but also to crochet! It has many color changes, you will work with lots of yarn bobbins/small skeins at the same time.

I think it turned out pretty awesome! I hope you will love it too!

“Tiger c2c Square - Free Crochet Pattern

For tiger's nose I have used 2 strands of yarn held together - one brown, one pink. If you like, you can do the same, or you can choose only one of the both colors.

There are parts in the square where you have to make some little tricks, for example the black stripes on the left side of tiger’s face, but also the stripes on the forehead.

What I did to connect the black box stitches from two rows in a continuous stripe, was to work the last hdc st of the box stitch not into the ch2 space of the same box stitch, but into the black box stitch one row below.

You can also correct the dotted stripes at the end, sewing with black yarn over.
