My Hobby Is Crochet

These cute baby booties were made by me at the end of the year 2011, for my baby girl on the way.

Hi dear crochet friends, I took a long break from crochet and blogging because of health issues. I'm finally feeling a bit better and wanted to win back the joy of crocheting by making something small and cute. I have decided for these baby booties, a free crochet pattern by Bernat Design Studio found on Yarnspirations (link at the end of this post).

My little son graduated kindergarten 2 days ago! I can't believe how quickly the years have passed! These flower crochet coasters were part of the appreciation gift I made for his kindergarten teachers. I really love how they turned out! I love the cheerful colors! I had some beautiful embroidery floss in various colors and I thought I will use them to make crochet appliques or crochet jewelry accessories! Butterflies for my little girl!

We had a carnival in town and my little girl was dressed up as a cute ladybug wearing a matching crochet ladybug hat.

These small ornaments were part of the Christmas gifts I have made ​​for my son's kindergarten best friends. I wanted to make something small and cute that they can hang in the Christmas tree or even on their backpack. *Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. 

All these lovely flowers were handmade by me, following the patterns designed by Lesley Stanfield, from the book "100 Flowers to Knit & Crochet". I have crocheted this super cute spider web beanie at a special request from  my 5 years old little son. His favorite hat ever! I have really enjoyed making this hat! I hope you will love it too!
