Use up your scrap yarns and make a pretty scarf for your toddler or for yourself! Use one solid color, or as many colors you wish! 

This diagonal ribbed crochet dishcloth is a good way to learn a new stitch and use up your scrap yarns! You can use 3 colors as I did, for an interesting jacquard look, or just one solid color to highlight the diagonal ribbing stitch.

This hat made with front post double crochet stitches is very warm and stretchy! The man and boy(s) in your life will surely love it!
