Do you like the knit look, but you don't know how to knit, or maybe you're just like me and prefer crocheting? I have knitted for many years, since my childhood and I really like the knit look, but crocheting is so much faster and I just love working with my hooks. That's why I have always tried to find some ways to imitate the knit look! I have been playing with some crochet stitches and I think that I made a great discovery! How to CROCHET: Knit Look Ribbing - Yarn Over Slip Stitch into 3rd. Loop at Front - Crochet Tutorial

If you follow along with my blog, you might have already learned how to crochet the knit look crochet stitches that I call the Yarn Over Slip Stitch (yo-slst) and the Yarn Over Slip Stitch Back Loops Only (yo-slst-blo) . These are not standard crochet terms, because I have not seen these stitches in any crochet stitch dictionary. They are some combination between half double crochet and slip stitch. In this blog post I will show you how to crochet another variation of this stitch, the Yarn Over Slip Stitch worked into the 3rd Loop at Front (yo-slst into 3rd loop at front) or the Yarn Over Slip Stitch into 3rd loop below the front loop!
