Wrapping Christmas gifts is almost as exciting as shopping for them! A beautifully presented gift adds much to the joy of giving and receiving. I have crocheted this JOY motif and attached it to a simple hessian bag to make a beautiful, reusable gift bag. In this post I will walk you through how to crochet the motif and attach it to the bag.

Halloween Pumpkin Basket - Free Crochet Pattern - Guest Contributor Post
Halloween is coming up! It is that time of year again that you can give people a good scare and then have a laugh about it!
Children love halloween for 2 different reasons, I believe. The first one is that they get to play dress-up and the second of course is candy!
Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that grown-ups love halloween for the same reasons. Well, most of them. So let's make a crochet, pumpkin shaped, basket for the little ones to go on trick or treating. But even if this fine holiday is not celebrated in your country you can make a small basket to decorate your home and let the spirits come to you!

Colour Block Scarf - Free Tunisian Crochet Pattern | Guest Contributor Post
This is a simple colour block scarf made using the technique of the Tunisian crochet, worked from the centre outwards. It is a nice change from always working in TSS (Tunisian simple stitch) and is a good next step for someone who wants to play with colour and stitching a bit.
