When working half double crochet stitches, typically you start each round with chain 2 that will be counted as the first half double crochet of the round and you end the round with a slip stitch in the top of the beginning chain 2. That makes a visible, ugly seam that I don't like at all! I tried to obtain a nicer joining; you can say it is an (almost) invisible joining!
