A brown bear could not miss among the forest animals featured till now in the Wildlife Graphghan, such as the Lava Fox, the Grey Wolf, the Deer Stag and the Racoon. I hope you will love it!

The Brown Bear Corner to Corner (C2C) Square it's a free crochet pattern that you can find right here on My Hobby is Crochet blog!
This free crochet pattern includes written row by row instructions for color counts follow with color pixel graph below.

SUPPLIES used:
- yarn: Red Heart Super Saver ( yarn weight: Medium 4) in 8 colors:
- Real Teal for the background approx. 137.25 yds (125.5 m)
- Black approx. 21.32 yds (19.5 m)
- Grey Heather approx. 4.92 yds (4.5 m)
- Dusty Grey approx. 1.09 yds (1 m)
- Coffee approx. 21.87 yds (20 m)
- Warm Brown approx. 39.77 yds (36 m)
- Cafe Latte approx. 83.66 yds (76.5m)
- Buff approx. 32.26 yds (29.5 m)
- 5.5 mm crochet hook (I have used Furls Wooden Hook, Cocobolo)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
GAUGE: 6 C2C tiles = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches)
SIZE: the square is 25 tiles x 25 tiles and approx. measures approx. 15 inches X 15 inches (38 cm x 38 cm)
NOTES:
1. You will use the C2C with the hdc, working the square on the diagonal starting from bottom right corner to top left.
2. The even rows will be worked on the right side of work.
3. The uneven rows will be on the wrong side of work.
4. On the graphic you will read the even rows from top to bottom ↙ and the uneven rows from bottom to top ↗!
ABBREVIATIONS:
- RS: right side
- WS: wrong side
Color abbreviations: (See the color legend in the graph at the end of this post)
- t = Teal - this is the background color - if you like, you can replace it with any contrasting color of your choice
- bl= Black
- gh= Grey Heather
- wb= Warm Brown
- c= Coffee
- cl= Cafe Latte
- dg= Dusty Grey
- bf= Buff

DeleteIM NEW TO C2C.. I SEE YOU SAY HDC- DOES THIS MEAN 3 HDC IN PLACE OF 3 DC ? WHAT ABOUT THE CH SPACE ???
ReplyDeleteHi, yes, I'm using hdc instead of dc, ch 2 instead of ch3. It make for a prettier texture, with less holes as when you are using dc.
