What are the Bundles on Ravelry and how to create Bundles on your Designer Page - Tutorial

Have you heard of the new Ravelry feature called „Bundles“?
It is a great feature for designers and crocheters as well!

I love it! It is a great way to sort your own patterns into categories!
How great is this? It reminds me of Pinterest boards! Now I can easily find everything, see from one look how many patterns I have in each category!

If you will take a look at my Ravelry Designer Page you will see the bundles under "About me" description, like this:
The regular pattern listing it's below the bundles!

If you click on „View all 14 bundles“ (at the time I have 14 bundles), like in the picture below, you will see all the categories listed and how many items are into a specific bundle! Here are my bundles!

Now, if you click on the cover picture of a bundle or on the title of the bundle, you will see all the items in that bundle!

For example, if you click on the Bundle "Flower Appliques Free Patterns" it will open a page with all 8 items (patterns) listed at the moment!
If you click on an item,  it will bring you to the pattern page for that item!

If you are a crochet/knit designer on Ravelry and would like to create your own bundles, follow the tutorial from this Ravelry discussion thread!

After you get the code for the bundle, on each of your pattern pages, you will have the new option „add to bundle“. For each pattern, click on „add to bundle“, then select an existing bundle or create a new one! (See the picture above)

You have also an option to rearrange the order of the bundles!

Into the bundle you have more options, I think important for you are to „edit the bundle“, „reorder items“ and „delete bundle“! Under the cover picture of the bundle you have the option to "edit cover photo", where you can change the picture.

I hope you liked this post!
You can gladly add me to your Ravelry friends  here and join my Ravelry Group My Hobby is Crochet
And other great thing, I almost forgot! You can add bundles to Ravelry Groups as well and choose who can contribute to the bundles!
I would love hearing from you!
Happy Crocheting!
